home is where the heart is.

it's been 5months since i've left home to university. it's kinda sad when you're jet laggs away from home. which literally means, no going home unless it's a long holiday semester break. like now. i'm back home! being a lazy bum and mannnn it feels good to be home. being away in perlis gave some exposures, and a little dose of the outside world. well, not really much entertainment in perlis. but then again, i get to travel to penang and kl often and meet people from the other side of malaysia. hee.

so i haven't been doing my blog justice, or updating it properly for my snuffies. cause there really isn't much to update on about my life in university. except for sadcase crushes. pfft.

somewhat revival post

lol. never thought it would be that hard to get a smooth running internet line in hostel.

so university life have been good, not at all bad actually. but when people say its more carefree and relax, that. my friends, ain't that true. well, little parts of it is. maybe it's just me being all paranoid with failing my subjects. or the word for it is, 'kiasu' in hokkien. learnt it from my penang friends. i just finished my midterms! hurraaah. fingers crossed for accounting.

i've gotten myself an instagram account. so yea, makes it easier to update people back at home.

yes, great news from perlis! i found ze great internet port in my room! and we're sharing epic internet line. though sadly, youtube and most video streaming websites are blocked. but it's okay, its actually a very good way to get us focusing on our studies. i mean, facebook is getting boring in a sense where there's nothing to see anymore. so i'd stick more time to my books!

truthfully, i am enjoying my time here in university. it may not be all around freedom and stuffs. but i am doing fine here, apparently adapting quite well. got new friends and fitting in just fine.
COURSE STUDIES ARE WAYY INTERESTING. apart from accounting that is.

as for picture posts. hmm. i'll have to work things out.

boarding to university

hey, chilling in kuala lumpur now, in university perlis now.
more anxious than ever. this is crazy, i'm scared. orz
can't believe time flies by so fast. i just officially wasted my 9months holiday and now heading for my degree program. i guess everyone should be expecting rants and ugh. non-picture posts until i settle in properly in perlis if i manage to find proper internet line that is. honestly being very heavy hearted here. i'm seriously going to miss the food in kk and my family!

but i'll pop in some updates from the drafts i've prepared. kekeke.

farewell x party play @ lintas

had a farewell gathering with the formsix since last week cause chuting is leaving us first, and they decided on party play in lintas considering justberry was crazily packed with people. just the usual formsix gang, chatting and being utterly random. with the twins around, it's always ridiculously random. pictures were really grudgy though, due to the lighting and noise, plus someone was meddling with the settings before. AND i was lazy. but i guess it has the instagram feel eh?

didn't really eat though, since i had justberry written all over my head. i had dinner at home, look at the savages. didn't give me a second for picture snapping. pfft. mind you, the one with egg on top was savaged first because it was an ALL MEAT PIZZA. 

university survival 101

that's just 38% of the stuffs packed. there's still alot of formal wear to go. 

packing stuffs to university have been dreadful as i expected it to be. so much procrastination. there's so much to pack but i wouldn't want to over pack. since i'll be so far away from home, there's no doubt i felt like bringing the whole house! from stationary to bathroom necessities to pillows and bed sheets. heck i wonder would there ever be enough space in the luggage. i need a bigger one. orz

the whimsical handmade story @ damai point

finally some quality time with cousin, she has been craving to try out the newly opened cafe in damai. instantly got attracted to the pictures of the place from their facebook page! handmade concept interior and wooden stuffs are my cup of tea. handmade story also gives out this warm zakka feel as you enter the cafe. it's really good to see these kind of cafe growing in kk! more concept designed cafe please. lol

the tables are my favourite part of the place aside from the chalked blackboard wall. i have this thing for wooden stuffs. pfft. for reals, i'd love to have drawing sessions on those lovely handmade tables one day! the foods are affordable too.

the tree of comments, the idea was so cute! we had to write a 'leaf' for it. wasn't sure if we're suppose to stick it on ourselves or not though. i'll go back next time to take a shot of my leaf.

starbucks nights

been all out and about meeting all my friends right after hosting miu, will be posting about youth exchange when i have the time to edit pictures and stuffs. i think i really did went out for yumcha sessions everyday, which explains the empty wallet i have right now. nonetheless. i enjoyed my chats and chilling with good old friends makes my day less stressful worrying and packing for university!

starbucks had the buy1free1 promotion going on during the ramadan on wednesdays and friday@ 6pm-8pm, who would miss out on a buy1free1 frappuccino offer right? me and chubs was craving for matcha. so yea, warisan square's starbucks will be my only starbucks i'd go to! since maria and bryan is working there. nice to visit the kids once a while too! not much photos of the formsix. cause, well, it's hard to get proper pictures of them. maybe next time.

ran to my uncle's in time for the match, well, yea. didn't have astro anymore. and sat on the floor watching with pillows as my fort. obviously i was too busy for pictures and all the other stuffs. didnt even eat corn properly.  hahaha. was hurling around the floor every score! i think i died so many times during the game i lost count and broke down into tears when i saw his tweet right after the match.

went all twitter craze with corn spamming #thankyouleechongwei and i think ged had the best status on fb ever, ' I'll name my kids Lee Chong Wei regardless of the surname '. Hahahahaha - Ged

hello kuching

flew to kuching with my family last weekend, sadly, yannie couldn't join us cause of MUET examinations.
it's my first time there and i love the cleanliness and safety! pretty much the same as kota kinabalu, though its really quiet during the evening. night time seems less lively as to compare to kk. just a short trip to get out of town! we didn't go anywhere far, just around town walking distance from the hotel.

the supermarket reminds me of the japanese mart back in tanegashima. 

 a sarawak trip won't be a sarawak trip without trying out their kolo mee and wantan. dad was searching high and low for laksa though, but we couldn't find any shops with it that is open, i guess they closed up early.

Mr.D backpackers place, passed through and we couldn't resist to stop by and read up the comments. seems like a really good place! all amazing comments and there were some written on the ceiling as well!

la salle bazaar x charity concert

it's good to be back in school again. i may sound like a total nerd. but nah, was back in school to support the bazaar and charity concert! but i was more excited meeting all my teachers and juniors. oh the great feeling of being remembered. yes, i miss my amazing teachers in la salle. graduating feels like a drag sometimes.

Mrs. Goh sold her collection of plants that day, the most environmental loving, not to mention passionate teacher i've ever met.

korean class was postponed that day, so me and cousin got extra time to walk around longer before it started raining. and because i was too caught up with the hellos and the 'how are you's to juniors and teachers, had no time to play with my camera. so, all photos are taken by my awesome cousin. i'm just incharge of cropping and editing the colours. ehehe.

went for the charity concert at night too! with angie and cousin. 
they literally saved the best for the last! was waiting for LSDC to perform so badly. 
no pictures of them dancing though, camera battery died. mom was furious cause i couldnt record my brother's performance. eek.

queeneraa, my ex-schoolmate! one of convent's pride back in my days. hahaha. 

great to be back in school again. 2 more months and i would be in university. 

kdrama llama

i am officially admitting i, myself, is a drama addict. spent like the entire week watching korean dramas non-stop. minus eating, working and bathing, i even cut off sleep/nap time for it. hahahaha. what an outcast i was. pfft. but every episode ends with cliff hangers! that's why. i don't like cliff hangers and watching half way through. so yea, went crazy catching episodes till 1AM.

so what was i watching?

dream high 2, everyone was talking about dream high season 1 when it was on air last year? or was it months, and i could never watch last time cause we don't really have kbs anymore, or even astro to be more specific. so, any form of entertainment would be ze most precious internet.

park seo joon! he's character is so cute! if only he had more screen time. hahaha

maaduu.com made my entire week. though i still need to find dream high s1 to watch, i went for dream high 2 first cause.. ugh well, just cause it was the first one to be on loop when i click the site?

and i was too lazy to look for dream high on other sites, and since jjproject and t-ara is there.  


btw, the soundtracks are so love.
we are B & Superstar are my favourite!

i do i do, is highly recommended as well. my mom and i are enjoying the shoes and the storyline.
